Biodegradable Wire Rope Lubricant METALUB WRG3700, is a solvent-free, biodegradable, penetrating, wire rope lubricant designed specifically for applications where lubricant contamination is an environmental concern. It penetrates to the wire rope’s core, preventing internal rust and reducing rubbing wear and friction between the individual strands, common causes of most rope failures, and is particularly suited to marine areas or high water level environments. Biodegradable Wire Rope Lubricant METALUB WRG3700 is formulated using readily renewable bio-base fluids blended with non-toxic Extreme Pressure and anti-wear additives. The high oleic vegetable base oil is more oxidatively stable than conventional vegetable oil, providing for extended lubricant life while maintaining rapid biodegradability.
